Some possible ideas I have about my paper is potentially writing about the fairy tale of Cinderella, and the princess and the frog. The reason I chose these 2 fairy tales to specifically include and talk about is because there’s been many interpretations and adaptations to Cinderella so I would want to give my own opinion on it. And for princess and the frog I feel its quite the opposite even though there’s still lots of hidden meanings and interesting topics in that fairy tale as well. So far I havent found that many articles in the BMCC library data base that really relate to the topics I’m discussing

Hello Daniel,
It’s funny you bring up “The Princess and the Frog” – that’s actually my all-time favorite fairy tale and I didn’t even think to pick it for this essay! I’m right there with you on the hidden meanings; there’s a lot to unpack in that story. One thing that always gets me is how Tiana spends most of the movie as a frog. It’s pretty mind-boggling, especially when you consider that she’s the first black Disney princess. There’s definitely a deeper layer to explore there.
Daniel, it sounds like you have some ideas, but you’re still working out what your angle is. Try to clarify your thoughts after you’ve browsed articles a bit more. If you can write a thesis statement, you’re on your way.
