The first essay for this course involves a multi-layered process in which you will evaluate a sample literary essay.

When you are ready to submit Essay 1, navigate to your Brightspace course. On the homepage, click the “Essays” module and then, select “Essay 1.”
Your essay will be graded based on this rubric.

This is a 20-question multiple-choice quiz on formatting essays in ENG 201 and correctly incorporating quotations. The test is timed, and students have 90 minutes to complete it. Test will be available from 9:00 on Monday, September 9 through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, September 15. Test will not be reopened after the closing date.
