Welcome to Week 12 of our course. This week we will be reading Joyce Carole Oates’s chilling work “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?” with its subtle echoes of “Little Snow White.” If there is time, we will also be reading another “predator story,” which raises interesting questions about the nature of protagonist and antagonist.
