The fairytale that strongly resonates with me is “Hansel and Gretel” by the Brothers Grimm. it shows the traumatic upbringing of two kids Hansel and Gretel while I don’t quite know it feels to have a traumatic childhood but I do have people around me who do and what effects it had one their psyche. I’ve also observed in this story that no matter what happened to the two siblings they never left each other but stayed together and helped each other by being supportive. when Hensel was trapped in the cage by the witch, Gretel out of her urge to get out of this situation she killed the witch by shoving her inside the oven. I see that as her concern for her brother who was caught I believe this is a great example of how siblings should be always sticking up for each other and helping each other in hard times and luckily this part resonates with me because the relation I have with my siblings as well.
