Yevgeny Zamyatin quote “Literature is painting, architecture, and music” sums up what books are like to me a fellow reader, which invites the reader to peek into a different world from the writer prospective. This quote interest me because the books that I’ve read intends to describe the mood, scenery, and plot of the story. To be specific the books I’ve read are from Frank Herbert Dune trilogy which compiles of having a visual sense of a different world from our own. Overall the books is about the survival of a family and specie that mostly oppress by society, politics, rivals and sometimes themselves, as they work together to prosper in their world.

Jesus, please be sure your posts address the prompt specifically. When you write your essay, you need to connect the entirety of the quote to your story. How is literature like painting? How is it like architecture? In what ways is literature like music? Does your response actually address these three specific elements? Also, be sure your post is at least 150 words in length.
I agree with you on the dune trilogy and how the essence of the quote is shown in the series. Adding on to what you have already pointed out, trilogy requires what the quote points out to keep the story interesting and to not confuse the reader. I have encountered some books where the story becomes a bit murky in the sequel volumes but Dune trilogy overall does a great job in having a constant flow and clear structure throughout the novels.
