Many people faced the worst catastrophe during COVID-19, forcing a large number of people in our country to act out in a variety of ways. People worried and stored up on as much as they could; most stayed indoors; many babies were delivered inside and are now known as “covid – 19 babies.” This pandemic also had an impact on people’s emotional and physical health; individuals became fearful of contracting the virus next. Oedipus behavior examines daily activities of citizens, focusing on their desire to be recognized as heroes and problem solvers. However, he couldn’t help those who harmed them, a sentiment similar to how we all sought assistance during the pandemic but couldn’t, requiring self-help and growth.

I agree with you Xitlally, Many people suffered through the pandemic and it was a challenge everyone was facing a terrible tragedy without them being ready in the story we can compare it to the real world because Oedipus wanted to help and be the brave one in helping everyone when he wasn’t able to instead caused problems.
I agree with what you said. COVID-19 was really tough for many people. Some folks stockpiled things they needed, others stayed home, and there was even a baby boom during the pandemic. It also made a lot of people worried about getting sick. Like Oedipus in the story, we all tried to help and solve problems, but sometimes we had to figure things out on our own. It shows how we can adapt and rely on ourselves and our community during hard times.
