Hello my name is Ahmad Deedat, I am a junior at Hunter College and I am currently majoring in computer science. I am taking this course through an epermit, which allows me to take a class from any other CUNY, which is a really convenient system. I am excited to take this course and connect with my classmates and I believe that together we can learn a lot. My goal is not just to do well in the class, but to excel. I am also keen on improving my writing skills. Outside the academic sphere, my passion for photography serves as an artistic outlet, allowing me to encapsulate the essence of fleeting moments. I also love exploring new places and ideas, whether through travel or learning new things. I am excited about this new phase of learning and personal growth, where I can bring together friendships, skill-building, and my passions.

Hi my name is Diamond Jefferson i am 19 and I attend BMCC for business i want to be an entrepreneur as i get older . Hello guys my name is Stephanie Flores, This is my second semester at bmcc-majoring in early childhood education. During my free time what I like to do is go on a run or head to the gym to clear off my mindset since I’m always either in school or working at my local job. Weekends are times when I enjoy days with my family or friends exploring new places or repeated places in NYC. My favorite spot in NYC has to be Chinatown because it has so many things to eat and see. I am very excited overall about our Eng class course, and I hope to learn and develop new ideas…I feel that I can contribute to this course by responding to our discussion boards & reading/commenting on others.
Hello, my name is Doma Gurung. I was born in Nepal and raised in India. I moved to the US almost 2 years ago. I live in Brooklyn, New York. Currently, I’m taking my nursing prerequisite classes and also working part time as a Nanny. Being a nanny is not hard but not that easy, I have to take my kids to the library a lot by that I mean EVERY single day. Even though I read a bunch of kids book every single day but I also enjoy reading novels and mangas. I like watching horror movies and listening to podcasts. As you may have already guessed I’m not that good at writing but I still try my best to make sense when I’m writing something. I think this course will help me enhance my writing as well as reading skills. I look forward to learning from everyone. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Melvin, or you can call me Mel. I am 20 years old born and raised in Brooklyn New York. I am a BMCC student majoring in Liberal Arts but might change to Computer Science in the near future. I live in an apartment of 5 including me with my mom, dad, big sister, and little brother. The main things I like to do nearly everyday are play/watch basketball, go to the gym, listen to music, and play video games. The way I can contribute in this course is by understanding and doing the work to the best of my ability, even if I get stuck on something. I hope we all have a nice and smooth semester!
Hello my name is Idalmi Abreu, I was born and raised in Dominican Republic. I’m fluent in spanish (reading, writing, speaking and listening). I have now 6 years living in the US and I’m fluent in english as well. I’m majoring in Science for health and the. transfer to a 4 years college to pursue my nursing bachelor degree. Something interest about me is that I like to travel and spend time trying new things like visiting museums, parks etc… I can contribute to this class because I don’t read very often, sometimes because of laziness and this is literature class and I feel that it will help me to have more passion for reading and try my best. I hope I can have the best experience out of this class and increase my reading skills.

Hi! My name is Citlali Ramos, but I also go by Cece if my name is too hard to pronounce. However, I do appreciate being called by my actual name. As a child my mother would consistently take me to the library multiple times a week and we would check out a variety of books of different genres to read together. Since then I’ve had a deep love for reading and anything literature. Although I am a science major, any literary classes I take are usually my favorite of the semester. Since I do love reading and occasionally writing I look forward to reading, and listening to my peers opinions. I find it creates a deeper understanding of a topic when there are multiple point of views contributing to a conversation. That being said I feel I can contribute to the class by sharing my opinions as well as receiving constructive criticism on my work.
