Hi, my name is Anthony Malaha and I am a first semester student at BMCC. The plan right now is to be a major in health and science and make my way to becoming a nurse. I’m not exactly sure what college will be like but it shouldn’t be crazy hard I made it through 13 years of public school. I wasn’t planning on coming here originally, Purchase University has wanted me to come upstate and play for their lacrosse team but given the situation I was put in this is what I had to settle with. I’m looking forward to meeting new people here and maybe finding some extra activities at school. I’m 17 years old and I’m from Suriname and Guyana and I love to visit over there. I travel a lot with my family if it means simply just going to another state or going to some random country in another continent. In 2011 I moved to America from Jamaica because my dad used to be a pilot but the company moved to another country where my mom did not speak the language, so we just ended up moving to America for a restart of life and new beginnings for me and my little brother.
