During our library instruction class, we learned how to search for sources using the BMCC Library Databases. The professor gave us two options of bases to search.
First, you open the BMCC Library link (https://www.bmcc.cuny.edu/library/) and click on Databases to start your search. Then you can click on view our complete list of Databases, and search there for ‘‘CQ Researcher’’ or ‘‘Opposing Viewpoints in Context’’.
On the Opposing Viewpoints you can use the search bar to put the key words about what you are looking to search, in that case, social media. Also, can use more key words to filter your search. You can also filter the type of the material. For that specific essay, the professor explained that we can use the material from Viewpoints, News and Magazine. You will find these at the bottom of the screen.
Hope that helps you!
