In “Snapchat Wants You to Post. It’s Willing to Pay Millions,” Taylor Lorenz talks about Snapchat’s latest attempts to reward content created by users with money. Snapchat is launching initiatives that compensate content creators for sharing more interesting material to compete with apps like TikTok and Instagram. The main problem with Spotlight is that it doesn’t have a community because there aren’t many users on Snapchat frequently. The primary goal is to lure in younger, active content creators. While increasing user engagement and retention is the aim of this strategy. I don’t use social media much personally since I only upload pictures of my friends and family or qutoes that I find relatable.I don’t normally upload posts, but after reading this article, I would give it some serious thought because I could earn a lot of money by doing it regularly.Tiktok is one social media platform where I prefer to post as there is greater youth engagement
