    Week 6 “Employment”

    1. EPI Staff. (2021). Economic Indicators: Jobs and Unemployment. 3 September says every month in the U.S, a government agency releases a report on the employment situation for the previous month. Their release includes data on job growth, unemployment, and wage growth, which gives us a snapshot of the health of the economy and whether it’s working for ordinary Americans. Do you know what a government agency it is?

    2. I read and I learned in “Picchi, Aimee. (2021). “Minimum wage would be $26 an hour if it had grown in line with productivity.” CBS News. 7 September “The federal minimum wage in the U.S. has remained glued at $7.25 an hour for the last 12 years, the longest stretch without a boost since it was first adopted in 1938”.

    3. Also, I read that problem for the average workers in the U.S, so the Baker’s opinion about the analysis The COVID-19 Delta variant he says that many white-collar workers won’t return to the office until 2022, while many lower-wage workers continue to cope with the risk of getting infected, not to mention confrontations with anti-mask or anti-vaccine customers.
