
My topic is helping families dealing with speech delay in early childhood education.
- The problem is that there is a lack of teachers who specialize in speech delay.
- children are being affected by losing out on cognitive skills such as social and emotional interaction.
- Parents know that their child will face many obstacles such as education, social and emotion skills
- It can cause. A lifelong deficit such as language and social function within the community.

- the black and brown families
- this problem is greater in the black and Spanish community mostly the Bronz area.
- An intervention should occur during the early years when the child is around 3 to 5 years of age.
- this issue should be address in the early stages of the child life because it will help them have a healthy development. To wait for 2 to 20 years this can cause severe damage to that child social and emotionally skill.
- If we wait till children are older to address this issue it will cause more problem due to their lack of knowledge
- A child intervention should start when a child should start to show some interaction with the parents.
- My plans would be to have a meeting with the parents and school official.
- I would want to have more recourses in the school and outside as well. For children with a speech problem
- I’m advocation for more help in the school system, more funding and more teachers that specialize in speech therapy to help children. with learning how to speak
- The board of education can be a help with this change.
- for my topic I choose all the above in reality it takes a village to help these children
