  1. After reviewing I would like to work with young school-age children, I always enjoyed watching little kids and I’ve been working with them. I enjoy helping them learn and I like this age group because they’re old enough to understand you and comprehend what’s going on, right from wrong and you can help mold them into good children.
I feel I help my children by creating an supportive genuine relationships with them, To address the behavior , Creates an environment that values the inclusion of all children, and Arranges a learning environment that is well organized, aesthetically pleasing, promotes reflection, and extends learning.
My career goals would honestly to be in a creer thats not only fun for me but also can be filled with learning new things. I like keeping busy.
I would like to achieve stability, the ability to move up in my career if I want too, and to maintain a positive vibe around me.
My dream job honestly would be a pediatric nurse.
I would want to be a kindergarten teacher.
I would like to be a kindergarten teacher.

  2. After reviewing the 3 early childhood age groups I would like to work with preschool age children, and young school age children because I feel like they are more understanding, but then again I feel like thats the age when you have to start shaping their behavior. However, kids of all ages are wonderful to work with. I feel like I would be a fit for all 3 age groups. Some skills and qualities that I would posses that will help me to be an effective early childhood professional for preschool age children, and young school age children is building a bond with my students, is to analysis changes in my students and figure out why and a few more. Some goals I’ll like to achieve is to change and protect and child, to be there for them, help them learn how to communicate when things are wrong. My dream job is to be a teacher or a counselor. If I could have a job in the field of ece it would be a counselor for young children.

  3. After viewing the three early childhood age groups I would like to work with pre school age children or young school age children. It was difficult for me to decide because I am open to working with children from each group. I decided that I would like to work with pre school age children or young children because I enjoy how the learning they do is interactive and hands on. Some skills and qualities that I posses that would help me when working with the children is patience and determination. I know when working with any age group these two qualities that are important to have. My career goal is to get my Associates in early child hood education and gain some work experience then pursue a bachelors degree in a different field. My dream job would be a counselor for young children. If I could have any job in the field or early childhood education I would work in counseling with young children or a position where I could work from home. In 10 to twenty year I would like to work in the hospital in health administration.

  4. After reviewing 3 early childhood age groups, I decided to work with either kindergarten or first grade because when I did a summary on pre-k I knew that even though it might look easy to help children learn and play. It is also chaotic and loud to maintain control over their behaviors which I do not feel that much comfort in because I already have a loud family including siblings and babies that are hyper. I would like to work with first graders more because they are developing mentally to work independently and quietly when the teacher gives them work, which is helpful for the teacher when he or she helps them with their work and other students near them. The qualities I have are sometimes patience for students, respect for peers and the children’s parents, and hopefully, in the future, I have passion for my work environment. I think I need to still work on patience for the student, flexibility in my job, and finding a safe school environment after I hopefully pass and get a degree. I had a dream job but after looking through it, that dream job made me have anxiety I just wanted to have a joyful and relaxing job I can do in the future so I chose to teach even though teaching could also be challenging. If I had any job in early childhood education I would pick either working with infants maybe or teaching first or second-graders. In ten to twenty years I am thinking of still teaching children but I am also hoping teacher trust me enough to look after their class for one day if they are absent or leaves class unattended.

  6. After reviewing I would like to work is infants and toddlers. I want to work with this age because they are very young and require much patience. they are growing during this age they need a lot of care and learning to help their brain stimulate. The goal I have for becoming an early childhood education is to always make it joyful and help children learn. To make their teaching and learning a bright and fun environment where they look forward to learning. In 10-20 years I still can see myself interested in this field and see myself teaching children and being happy

  7. I would like to work with preschool age children and or young school age children and that is because
during these years in their lives, they are constantly learning and growing their brains, and engaging in learning, playing also they will keep me on my toes far as staying busy. 9. I would like to work with preschool age children because they aren’t too young but not too old. I’d be able to help them adjust to their routine for the next 14 years of life. Some skills and qualities I possess that will help me be an effective early childhood professional for pre-k kids are patience, respect and high energy. Without these qualities i dont think I’d be able to be a preschool teacher since preschoolers have high energy so if they’re on the move I have to keep up with them. Also since I would be a new person in their life I would teach them respect for everyone and finally patience is key when dealing with children. My career goals are to be a pre-k teacher for 4 years and do nursing school meanwhile. Some goals I would like to achieve in my career are to prepare kids in pre-k to transfer to kindergarten and prepare them very well since it would be their first steps in school. 11. After reviewing the 3 early childhood age groups I honestly would not want to work with children at all. I became a mom very young and I have been doing childhood learning my whole life. But if I had to choose one it would be the young school age because that is the age group of my youngest children and I enjoy them so much lately. I love that they gave questions and that you can speak to them and they somewhat listen. It is fun to explore and learn with them because they have a mind full of imagination and they keep you on your toes. I believe that the qualities and skills I have mentioned in the reading by Colker(2008) are. Willingness to take risks, Patience, and Perseverance. My career goal is educational law. In my career, I would like to achieve helping the youth in disadvantaged communities and children with disabilities obtain the resources needed to succeed. My dream job would be to be an attorney for special needs children, I would love to support parents with children with special needs, making sure they know their rights and see their children thrive. If I could have a job in the field of early childhood education it would be in early enervation, because I see that they have a need for people who are compassionate and care about the growth and development of the students that are being referred them I would make sure that the reports are accurate and the student is getting the appropriate services. In 10 years, I would like to have a job in educational law and I would continue that till I am probably too old to do it! It is my passion!

  12. After reviewing the 3 early childhood age groups, I want to work with preschool age children. I think this age is very important for entering the school and lots of things happens on this age. At this age children learn how to stay in school with teacher or other friends. They know that they’re not baby anymore, even though sometimes they try to be like baby. 13. After reviewing the 3 early childhood age groups I would like to work with infant/toddlers and preschool age children because I have always been intrigued with being able to be one of the first educators in a child’s early stages of life. Infancy is the most nurturing and delicate stage for their growing minds and physical development. Toddlers is a critical stage for their growing minds and physical development and can be a difficult period but that’s all worth implementing higher guidance in their lives. Preschool age group is also intriguing to work with, it can be a very fun experience during this period. I enjoy many preschool activities and learning of their individual-building personalities.

  14. I Want to work with young schoolchildren. Children in that age group are sponges that absorb everything whether it’s good or bad, by accident or on purpose, and I just want to be the one to help through the things that they absorb that they don’t understand. I have patients, I am understanding with a lot of passion, and I love to give. I know that I will provide an environment that allows kids to feel safe, and supportive, most importantly allow kids to have developmental growth, as well as inclusiveness to all the kids and parents. One of my career goals is to increase professional development and training, but mainly I want every child I connect with to take away something from our conversation. I choose to start my journey as a guidance counselor while continuing my education, and after getting my master’s or Ph.D. (haven’t decided) work towards being a psychologist. My dream job is to be a school psychologist which is my goal for me, and in 10/20yrs I hope to be doing just that or with my own practice.

  15. After reviewing the 3 early childhood age groups, I would like to work with infants and toddlers because they are at the beginning of their development. It would be amazing to watch each infant reach each milestone at different paces. Be able to see how they develop in each stage till they master it. . I demonstrate these characteristics by keeping track of each child’s progress so I don’t confuse other children’s progress. My career goal is to become an anesthesiologist. My goal to achieve this is to graduate from BMCC, transfer to another college, then take the MCAT to go to medical school for four years and then another four in residency, and finally take four exams for certification to become an anesthesiologist. My dream jobs are fashion design and early childhood teacher. A specific goal I have is to design clothes for a famous artist I adore. For education I just want to become a respected educator.

  17. After reviewing the 3 early childhood age groups, I would like to work with preschool age children because they aren’t too young to teach and I would be able to communicate with them more.
