My name is Duriana and I would like to have an art business. My customers would be Gen Z between the ages of 20 through 26. The problem for Gen Z is finding unique artwork that is affordable. According to Google “The market size, measured by revenue, of the Online Art Sales industry, is $6.5bn in 2023.” A business name that I came up with is Spark Art. The important values for my customers are my art styles and offering affordable art along with higher-end art pieces. (stickers, prints, and canvases)
I would sell my art through Shopify and or Squarespace. I am someone that has loved art since I was little. I took a ceramics program in middle school and had an art class in high school. Now I am a self-taught artist. And I have also shared my art on social media. The first person I would hire would be someone that helps package orders and take them to the post office which is fulfillment. Furthermore, I want my small business to have sustainable art by using biodegradable packaging. Every person has a carbon footprint so people buying my art would limit their increase in their carbon footprint.
