Fallaci: Appeal to emotion

Definition: Appeal to emotion, Seems that this fallaci is based on discipline to act on what you don’t want to do emotionally by replacing it with reasons why you should.

Example: A kid named Ken wanted his dad to order him a pink Lamborghini, instead he received a red one because they didn’t have any pick ones. He bickered to his dad saying, “This is not the color I wanted you bum” but the father responded with “Son be grateful that were even able to be a position to get one cause this isn’t an opportunity people often are able to have”.

Explanation: This shows that emotionally he wanted something fitted to a certain criteria but he should learn to reflect on his situation by being grateful because you may be more fortunate than others so just remain humble.
