Definition: Appeal to emotion, Seems that this fallaci is based on discipline to act on what you don’t want to do emotionally by replacing it with reasons why you should.
Example: A kid named Ken wanted his dad to order him a pink Lamborghini, instead he received a red one because they didn’t have any pick ones. He bickered to his dad saying, “This is not the color I wanted you bum” but the father responded with “Son be grateful that were even able to be a position to get one cause this isn’t an opportunity people often are able to have”.
Explanation: This shows that emotionally he wanted something fitted to a certain criteria but he should learn to reflect on his situation by being grateful because you may be more fortunate than others so just remain humble.

Apparently this fallacy in latin is :argumentum ad passiones. My best cousin used to use a lot on me. Whether it is a matter of food or even shoes. I learned that’s also what narcissistic individuals employ to control people.
