Fallacy: Appeal to Nature

Definition : Arguing that something is good/healthy because it is natural.

Example: Smoking marijuana won’t do me any harm. It comes from the earth.

So because I feel like marijuana is natural I assume it will not harm me and I make that argument when someone disagrees.

Someone justifying something just because it is seen as the norm and/or natural way of thinking.
