Conversation 1

Summary

Critical thinking to me is analyzing evidence or observations to obtain a bigger picture or get a deeper perspective and understanding, The two speakers define critical thinking as the art of analyzing and evaluating thinking with a view of improving it.The first speaker highlighted how critical thinking helps us understand how someone's thinking reflects their worldview and enables us to create our own reasoning and understand theirs . The second speaker emphasized that critical thinking is crucial for engaging with our own minds, questioning things, and understanding rather than just memorizing. Both speakers highlighted the importance of teaching critical thinking in schools to help children adapt, innovate, and solve problems. They also emphasized the importance of being receptive to new ideas and realizing mistakes or wrongs. I agree because it very important to be able to think on your own and form your own opinions rather than constantly follow everyone else's, if you constantly follow others it can stump you when life gives you problems or even lead you down the wrong path.
