Does Money Buy Happiness?

Happiness is not a state that you only reach once. You not only feel happy one time in your life, but you also don’t reach absolute happiness because there’s no such thing.

Happiness is the little or significant moments in life where we feel the most positive emotions that humans can feel.

I don’t think that only money can make you happy; there are many factors that cause happiness, but in the capitalist society we live in, money gives you the support to make certain happy moments happen.

For example, when you were a kid, you still reached many moments of happiness without even knowing what a dollar was; you didn’t have to worry about if there was enough money for dinner or enough money to get the bus to go to the park, your parents had to deal with that stress. But things change when you’re an adult, sadly, money becomes a necessity, and if you don’t have money for rent or food, it becomes more challenging to reach happy moments. The stress of surviving becomes overwhelming, and it’s the only thing you can worry about.

In conclusion, money does not buy you happiness but allows you to reach happiness. Money gives you the calmness you need to have a happy life.
