For “The Paradox of Choice” by Barry Schwartz, the Ted talk concludes that having too many choices can lead to a decrease in satisfaction and
an increase in paralysis. The premise is when given a lot of choices our expectations increase because we can never be delighted with just one choice we need perfection.
In the article “From the ‘Perfect’ Salary to Keeping up with the Loneses, here’s How Money Affects Your Happiness’ ‘ by Cory Stieg the conclusion is money does not make us happy it’s what we do with it that can make us happy. And the premise is money is important for essential needs.
I agree with Cory Stieg’s whole message that money does not buy us happiness to a certain degree because let’s say you see a purse or an adorable graphic t-shirt and you buy it you use it you wear it all that stuff it may seem like a small object or unnecessary but you love what you bought it makes you happy that’s what matters as long as what you buy makes you the happiest. My conclusion would be that money does not make us happy, it’s what we do with the money that can make us happy my premise would be Money is important for meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, and healthcare, it be difficult to provide for oneself and one’s family. Having enough money allows individuals to live comfortably and afford necessities for a decent standard of living.

I agree with all that u said, money definitely doesn’t buy happiness. Money is purely physical, meaning and can only solve physical problems but the real issue is what can’t bought which is mental state of mind, real relationships, love etc. Purpose and what you do with your time on this earth is the true measure of happiness. Prioritizing momentary things wont provide satisfaction in your life which is all that money does.
I really appreciate the way you explain it. You have presented the issues very nice facts.
