Summary
I saw this story a long time ago in a movie and I decided to talk about it today because I saw the movie again a few weeks ago. It is about a father named Josef Fritzl who kept his daughter locked in a safe deposit box that he built in his basement, where he abused her many times, leaving her pregnant 7 times. According to what I saw in the movie, the factor in all this is that his daughter was rebellious and he was a very strict father and he ended up locking her up to teach her manners and so that she wouldn't leave her parents house. The articles are all different but they talk about the same thing, in one of the articles they tells us about the health of Kerstin, born to Fritzl and his daughter Elisabeth during her years in captivity, they explains to us the complications she had from being locked up and how they realized what Josef was doing. In the another article they tells us a little about Josef Fritzl, how he had previously been accused of rape and how he locked up his mother until she died because she was never a loving mother. These three articles have similar language, it is a tragedy but they give a lot of information on the subject so that the reader can understand the history and how horrible that man was. Having said that, the three articles are Objective language since the writer did not express his own opinion but instead they helped the reader to learn the facts so that we can draw our own conclusions and form our own opinion on this subject. I believe that this story and Josef has bias because everything Josef did was because of his beliefs and his way of being something that his daughter did not agree with.
