My research paper will be focusing on the increase of gun violence that has been happening lately in Harlem. Over the summer I have witness the increase in shootings , especially with the younger generation . The community has been attacking each other and it has gotten out of control on how so many people are able to obtains guns . Gun marches have been a constant event , due to everyone being so afraid of how of bad the areas have got. Parents are afraid to send their children outside because they are afraid if they will be returning back safely . There has been a drastic increase in death within the youth, Every day, three to four Americans under the age of 18 are murdered with a firearm. There have been different groups of people within the community of Harlem making outreach programs to stop the gun violence.
