How have homelessness and the utilization of hotels as homeless shelters affected the neighborhood of Queensbridge? 

Queensbridge, a neighborhood located in Long Island City, Queens, is considered to be the projects/government housing. Although government housing is designated for low-income individuals, homelessness is still an issue. There are multiple hotels in this area being utilized as homeless shelters and the area isn’t exactly the safest place to be. When walking down this neighborhood, you can see the homeless, dirty sidewalks, junkies, minorities, and ex-convicts/felons.
