As a resident of The Bronx for the pass 15 years of my life. I have seen the effects of the Cross Bronx Expressway. The Cross Bronx Expressway is very noisy, air pollution near it is bad (you can smell it), and also it cuts The Bronx into two sides. But as a driver I like it, the reason for that is because I can get to different places faster. I do not know how I would feel if they take it away. Which is very unlikely in my opinion.
