Summary

Not all communities or neighborhoods have the same problems, but now we are seeing that crime is one of the biggest problems facing our communities, for example, the community where I live in the Bronx is one of the most affected by crime, and the violence that some people say they are more afraid when going out, we see that after the pandemic, how it became more dangerous, and people kill others on trains or in the street. The crime on the streets of the Bronx is worrisome because we don't want our children to see that and follow that example. We don't want to grow up in fear. We want to feel safe and free, they make us more afraid because we can see how buying weapons is as easy as finding them in the corner store is something we don't feel safe with, or how other things are easier. The subway stations are homeless and some throw others off the rails or carry guns in their pants or harass people, it's very scary.
