Topic: Gentrification In Jamaica Queens
Research Question: In what aspects does gentrification change within Jamaica Queens? How major is the impact, who has it impacted and in what ways has it impacted the community?
I chose this because in Jamaica that’s the big change going on and it’s insane how it has a fast upcoming. Over time it has changed but not as fast we’ve seen now. We see buildings being built on almost every block, with that I feel like it adds on to everything else, diversity, people, traffic, small business, high rent, homelessness, crime. One change can bring so much impact into everything else. From our eyes we see the development and the change but not going in deep of how much is affects so much.
