Summary:
Over the past week I’ve noticed that the majority of the crimes being reported are mainly guns and a lot of migration related crimes. Day 1, The National Guard was allegedly mistreating asylum seekers in a Buffalo area motel, according to a court lawsuit brought on behalf of many migrants and whistleblower employees, day 2 Jesus Alejandro Rivas Figueroa is charged with shooting at a security guard but hitting a Brazilian woman instead. According to officials, a 15-year-old boy was taken into custody on Friday. He is suspected of shooting a Brazilian tourist in Times Square the previous evening and then shooting twice at a police officer as he ran from the scene. Day 3, More and more people from Latin America are putting their lives in danger to enter the country illegally over the northern border. Day 4, A shooting took place at the Mount Eden Avenue station on Monday, the police said. The victims ranged in age from 14 to 71, including a 35-year-old man who died. A 35-year-old man was killed and five other people, including two teenagers, were wounded on Monday in a shooting at the Mount Eden Avenue subway station in the Bronx during the evening rush hour, the police said. Day 5, A guy in a Queens apartment was shot and killed by a New York City police officer. According to the authorities, the man had aimed a “imitation gun” at the policemen who were responding to a 911 call indicating gunfire at the building. This generation is so sad, how these young teens are running around with guns and migrants are basically being treated poorly. The NYT isn’t really consistent with news like one day you will see an article about a murder and the next day there is a new article about a wedding.
