In the final step, you are asked to provide a policy analysis for the case and the theory. You should answer these questions:
- How does the chosen theory apply to the case (Step One and Step Two analysis)?
- What are the policy implications of the theory as it is applied to the case?
- How can we prevent such criminal behavior in the future, based on the theory?
Most theories have policy suggestions based on their theoretical propositions. Connect these policy suggestions to the case/event at hand.
