Situational Crime Prevention in My Neighborhood

One way my neighborhood tries to prevent crime is with these devices right here around almost every building. You can call people or you punch in a code to open the door. In most building these don’t work and its pretty sad because it could help save a lot of lives.

These cameras are all around my neighborhood and are in tight corners and spots with bright lights that give a better detailed view in case of profiling and identification.
I’m not too entirely sure what these do, I believe it’s an alarm system of some sort that will inform the reciever when something is broken into or any type of tresspassing which is really good.
here’s another camrea tucked away in the corner and that tries to be discrete and catch some faces and crimes committed.
