I strongly believe traffic stops have its benefits but it also initiates more harm than good in some situation. I believe if there is no reason for an officer to check a car or to pull someone over. I feel as officers do things based off bias at time not off of rules not being abide by. Color plays a part in officers stop as well as the way a person is dressed. A Caucasian man dressed in a suit who might have a rifle in the back of his car will get a simple warning opposed to a colored man or women dressed in casual wear. A person of gotta keep his/her hands on the dash , no sudden movements or reaching because they may not make it out the situation alive. Traffic stops violate individuals rights. Including illegal searches.
