Dear students,
This is a short week because of the Thanksgiving break! Your assignments are due next Monday because I don’t want you to stress out during the holiday break.
This week we are looking at Labeling Theory in criminology. Please make sure to study the materials and participate in the discussion forum on the school-to-prison pipeline. As I mentioned previously, there is a significant drop in discussion forum participation. If you have missed past discussion forums, please participate in the remaining discussion forums (we have just a few more).
I have seen that several students have submitted Short Assignment #3. Please continue with the submissions. Please make sure to cite your sources when you submit your post because I am asking you to talk about a criminological theory and how it applies to the case.
Quiz 5 will be posted shortly with the due date next Monday, as well.
I have only office hours tomorrow, so please go ahead and get in touch with me if you need any assistance. Also, please make sure to talk to Sofia before the end of the semester because 5% of your final grade depends on your contacts with her.
