Here’s a showcase of crime deterrence at my job. Working in Midtown East, there can be a range of criminal activity and/or dangerous activities. Corporate buildings prioritize the safety of the staff that occupy this building, as well as the companies that are tenants here. Some of these deterrence include, cameras on each corner and within the lobby, security guards posted and patrolling, ID verification access, and locks on side and emergency doors.
