She was found with injuries to her head and fractured femurs.It is said that the mother left the little girl for a short amount of time and came home to find her with these injuries. These gang members are known for actively targeting young people as well as making threats to detectives. The gang members were charged with murder as well as them pleading guilty.
Based off the articles I came across I realized many crimes regarding violence and murder cases are are being reported. Most crimes are shown being to young people which also can catch the eye to readers since it can be sentimental. Criminologists would respond to these crimes by saying exposure to violence is taking a toll on the youth. I feel as as someone who is apart of the youth community we are exposed to many crimes in our community and through access of technology.
