Bragg stated that Mr. Ulrich had accepted or solicited the bribes over just two years. Mr. Eric Ulrich was appointed by Mayor Adams. he used his positions to benefit friends and associates and harvested more than $150,000 for himself.

Hunter Biden is being charged with three felonies he lied to a licensed gun dealer and obtained a gun when he was dealing with his addiction to crack cocaine and alcohol.
in the article, it states” Hunter Biden possessed a firearm while knowing he was an unlawful user of or addicted to any stimulant, narcotic drug or any other controlled substance, in violation of federal law,” prosecutors charged in the five-page filing..” in other words, Mr Biden was in no condition to purchase and obtain such deadly weapon in that mental health.

Police had been called to the scene where the incident took place, fire department could not trace any carbon monoxide or any other substance. While still searching for the cause police stumbled upon a kilo press which was used to package large quantities of drugs.

A deputy named Ryan Clikunbroomer age 30 was killed while he sat in his cruiser near a sherrif station. Police later arrested the man who is accused of killing Deputy Ryan Clikunbroomer. Kevin Cataneo Salazar was arrested around the area, Deputies had a warrant for his arrest he didn’t cooperate and barricaded himself in the home, The swat team was called and tear gas had to be used in order to arrest Kevin. In an interview with the mother, she stated that Kevin was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The news article also stated that police are targeted and about 8 ambushes on police have happened over the year.

After looking at newspaper headlines from September 13 through September 23 I can conclude that certain types of crimes are more presented. The types of crimes I cited were gun Crimes, Corruption crimes, drug crimes, and murder crimes. In one news article a man named Hunter Biden obtained a firearm illegally, In this case, he wasn’t suited mentally due to his addiction to cocaine and alcohol. This might be a personal problem but it can result in it being a societal issue affecting everyone. Just like drugs, Drug use, and drug sellers can affect innocent people for instance a daycare in the Bronx a 1-year-old and other children were exposed to a drug substance fentanyl, and this incident resulted in an innocent child’s death. Another problem that caused someone’s life was a deputy in California who was ambushed by a man Named Kevin who had been suffering and diagnosed with schizophrenia, his battle with mental health resulted in him gunning down an officer who was doing his job. Lastly on the list is corruption which was committed by a former commissioner Eric Ulrich. These news coverages seemed to be major when it came to drugs and murder.
