What is critical Thinking?
The topic I decided to explore on Allsides is “How Will Biden’s visit to Kyiv Impact the
Ukraine War? Ironically, with the one year university of Russian invasion of Ukraine
approaching, president of the US, Joe Biden decided to take a trip. He has met with president of
ukraine, Volodymyr zelenskyy in the capital of ukraine. Biden’s appearance may have some
meaning of what war will be. All three sides include that bite and has made it clear he’s standing
with Ukraine against russia. Both the center and the left focus more on the fact it’s a visually
good thing Biden has shown up. However, the right is the only side that seems to acknowledge
bright and not only has gone days before a tragedy but he has gone there with something like,
no support. He is not protected where he’s standing and the ones that welcomed him, along
with the ones who brought him to Ukraine, cannot protect him. This might be a result of the left
and center attempting to only give biting a positive look. They may want to focus on increasing
the list of great things biting has done. Fortunately, the right lets us know that even the president
of the US can just do what he wants to. Biden hasn’t really set the tone in office and so with that
being said, he should spend more time trying to live the rest of his life. The center side
portrayed their opinion with satisfaction, the left is simply reminding us but also grieving. Finally,
the right side is concerned. “Ammunition, not a visit” was enough to give Rita’s the idea that
what Biden has done, should not be receiving praise. Within the right side, Jim Geraghty has
given Biden fake praise for showing up; however, he’s more interested and directing or leading
readers to his main idea. I wouldn’t say that there are examples of bias within this topic on all
sides. The writers were clear on how they felt.
