Summary
Critical thinking is the analysis and evaluation of information, facts, and arguments to form judgments. It involves thinking logically and objectively, identifying, analyzing, and recognizing those conclusions. The first speaker Gary Meegan defined critical thinking as the art of analysis and evaluation, where it can take practice, time, and the imagination to put patterns/puzzles together. We need patience to understand critical thinking and help us understand the thinking and behavior of others. In Jesse Richardson's TED Talk, he explains the importance of developing critical thinking through skills instead of accepting what we are told. We should question the information we receive and analyze it with our own opinions. I agree that critical thinking is important. It helps us consider all perspectives, make more informed decisions, better understand others, and think about our actions.

I agree that critical thinking involves thinking objectively. As one of the videos emphasized, we are riddled with our own biases which cloud our critical thinking. The ability to think objectively involves removing our own personal biases and approaching the process of thinking like a science, so that we can reach correct conclusions instead of our own subjective conclusions.
