If I had to make a cult it would be something modern like. For example the singer R.Kelly had a sex cult and was able to appeal to women because of his music. He would have his bodyguards reach out to a woman in the audience or bring the woman on stage with him at a concert and either invite them backstage or have his team give them his direct line. Most woman would want to show their talent and sing for him or do his hair, and he would let them and end up getting to know them. Once he found out info about them, and got to know the woman, he would use that comfortability and have the woman think they were in a relationship with him. He was so sick and disgusting.
If I had to make a cult more than likely it would be something religious based because that’s the most controversial idea. From there I would bring in young adults and have them start bringing their friends show them a good time and slowly bring in ideas on why they should follow me. Once you unlock someone comfort level they start trusting you and your word. From there asking them to do a small favor like hey you should bring your sibling next time and eventually get them to bring in more people.
In my opinion its pretty crazy howdelicate the mind is and how all these biases and manipulations can form.
