Summary
"The Immortal" is the name of the cult I want to start. With a single leader who the people will follow, its goal is to worship the gods in pursuit of immortality. Based on their emotional receptivity, we will select candidates who we can brainwash into accepting the existence of the gods. Every night before going to bed, members of the cult must worship the god. They must also throw half of their dinner portions into fire as a symbolic offering to the gods.
The Heaven's Gate cult was a group of Americans who believed that the Earth would ultimately be "recycled" and that they might be able to leave by boarding a spacecraft that was purportedly monitoring the comet Hale-Bopp in 1997. In an attempt to have their souls transported to the spacecraft and saved, they all committed mass suicide in March 1997. I would never fall for this cult unless the earth was actually dying in my lifetime.
The article I chose is “cult formation". What I learned from the article is the three things that create a cult. In the article it discusses cults and how they control their followers. A powerful leader, the use of persuasion to alter members' beliefs, and member exploitation are said to be three common characteristics of cults.

hello
-I don’t think I should join this cult, because although I believe that there are gods, ghosts, heaven, and hell in this world, only by worshiping them can I be immortal, no matter how brainwashed I am, my heart will This belief cannot be accepted. Unless I believe they can grant my wishes (like wanting to be a millionaire, hoping it won’t rain tomorrow, etc.hahaha)
-Your summary is very good. Indeed, the leaders of cults use repetitive language to brainwash and hypnotize everyone to change their consciousness and thoughts.
