Summary

I chose the story of Buffalo Shooter Sentenced to Life in Prison by New York Court. It's about At a Buffalo, New York, supermarket store in May of last year, Gendron murdered ten people. Gendron stated that racism and white supremacy were the motivations behind his conduct both before and after the tragedy. The 10 victims were all black people. Gendron is still prosecuted with federal racist attacks, which carries a potential death penalty although it is not authorized in New York courts.
In all three stories the attacker pleaded guilty to all his crimes, Prior to receiving a life sentence without the chance of parole on Wednesday, a white supremacist apologized to the relatives of the Ten Black people he brutally murdered at a western New York grocery shop last year .According to The Newspaper, Gendron stated in the documents that he chose the Tops grocery store because it was in a community with a greater percentage of Black people and that he thought the attack would help maintain White power in the U.S. they all have the same facts but the last story which its from fox news says that gendron its prepared to plead guilty in order to not get execution since new york does not have the death penalty. I feel like this newspaper mentioned that because they want to tell everything and leave people talking about this tragedy.
The language and the word choice are similar in the way they used tone, they made it look like a horrible thing which it was and obviously they were dramatic because only one news mentioned that he cried after saying i’m sorry to all the families. The other 2 said he didn't show any feeling, regret, emotion, like there was nothing there. This is a great example of prejudice since Gendron was against black people because they were not white like him, which it’s unfair. After all the victims he killed and hurt, they can’t even agree on his execution. Instead the system it’s looking for life prison.
