Summary

The topic I chose is about the chinese balloon and the mysterious ufo being shot down recently.

The first article I discovered is from the New York Post and is titled "Defence officials describe object shot down by US jet over Canada." It is the shortest of the three I found. It mostly concentrated on the Chinese balloon and the UFO, with images of fighter jets and Chinese balloons.

The second article, titled "US shoots down a fourth high-altitude object as lawmakers demand more information," is from CNBC. This article concentrates on the fourth object and describes how we are only discovering them now because we are focusing on them after the Chinese Balloon was discovered, this article also heavily focuses on politics by showing us what congress thinks one example of this in the article was when rep Mike Turner talks down on the Biden administration and blames them for all of this.

CNN's third article, titled "Here's What We Know About the Unidentified Object Shot Down Over North America," is the longest and most detailed. This article goes on to explain everything in detail, including how the object was discovered in the sky, how it travelled, and how it was removed. Overall, this article goes into the most detail about what's going on.

Overall, the articles do a good job of explaining what's going on with the UFOs. The New York Post story was straightforward; it stated what we needed to know without bias; it was simply reporting the news, there was no government backlash involved. The second CNBC piece was biassed against the US military and blamed things on the government claiming that they are only detecting these objects because of the recent Chinese Balloon, implying that the US military is not doing their jobs correctly. The third article essentially combines articles 1 and 2, as it provides us with a view of both the government and the news,it is also the most detailed article of the three. It basically explains the events step by step.
