Alumni Panelists:

Michael Hicks, End User Computing Engineer at the New York Stock Exchange

Michael Hicks is currently an End User Support Analyst at the New York Stock Exchange and proud alumni of BMCC. Hick’s journey at BMCC began in January of 2018 and concluded in June of 2020. During his journey at BMCC,  he was fortunate to work with and learn from extraordinary educators and professionals. Included among them are the members of the BMCC Center for Career Development, who taught him techniques that have been vital to his success into the present day. Hicks is excited about the opportunity to share some of techniques gathered from his time as a student as well as throughout his career in Information Technology

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mehmet Sahin, Jr. Software Developer at Castle Hill Gaming Mehmet Sahin, a passionate software developer, began his journey at BMCC with a perfect 4.0 GPA and a love for code and games. He co-organized the first BMCC Hackathon, honed his skills through research projects such as on software accessibility, and earned prestigious awards. He also worked as a Teaching Instructor and freelancer. After graduation, he gained practical experience in the US and abroad, culminating in his current role as a game developer. Married and coding happily ever after!
