Details

Give your students easier, more affordable access to high‑quality academic materials by integrating library resources directly into your Brightspace course. In this workshop, learn how to locate, link, and embed a wide range of library content, including e-books, articles, streaming media, and subject‑specific databases

We’ll explore best practices for using persistent links, ensuring off‑campus access, and selecting materials that support Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The session will also highlight the key benefits of incorporating library resources in Brightspace, such as:

  • Accessible, high‑quality content students can use with screen readers and other accessibility tools.
  • Reduced student costs: Replace or supplement commercial textbooks with library‑licensed content at no additional cost to students.
  • Improved student engagement: Offer diverse media formats and scholarly resources that enrich learning.
  • Copyright‑friendly content: Use materials already licensed by the institution without needing to navigate complex permissions.
