Are you using Zoom to its full potential in your classes? Are you looking for ideas about how to build community and foster more student engagement in your synchronous online classes?

In this session, Tom and Gina will introduce Zoom features that you might not be aware of, and will facilitate a conversation about faculty experiences teaching in Zoom. Topics will vary based on participant interest, and may include:

  • Using PowerPoint presentations as a virtual background and other things you might not know about screen sharing
  • Collaborative annotation with whiteboards
  • Tracking student attendance
  • Options for viewing and rearranging participant tiles
  • Breakout room options
  • And more…
