Who are the ASAP Peer Mentors?
The ASAP Peer Mentors are a group created to support current ASAP students by helping them navigate the transition to college and supporting their success through their academic career from the perspective and experience of fellow or former ASAP students.
The Mentors will run workshops, help with ASAP engagement activities and are available to meet with current ASAP students to discuss academic, financial aid, or personal matters impacting their college success.
- Ease new students in their transitions from high school to college.
- Navigate the college campus and advise on how to access critical student services.
- Help students get involved on campus activities and utilize college resources.
- Provide peer advisement on a student-to-student level in courses, study strategies, and campus activities.
