Me!

Hi! I’m Professor Alexander D Carney. I’ll be your instructor for BASIC STAGECRAFT. I am very excited to be working with you this semester.  I was born and raised in New York City and like many of you I am a product of the New York City Public School System. For the last thirty years, I’ve been involved in professional theater, television, and film. As a member of both Actors Equity Association (stage manager/actor) and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (stagehand/film electrican) I’ve worked on Broadway, Television, and Film.
