Ball Study #1 (Emiliano)

I did the bouncing ball studies, one is animated frame by frame and the other is tweened. I used slow in and slow out as well as squash and stretch. I looped the frames a few times so the video lasts longer.

Ball Study 1

I created 2 balls that bounce one using frame by frame and the other uses tweening and I created one ball that hits the ground and rolls this was created frame by frame.

Ball study: Squash and stretch

Ball studies- One which is a drawn ball that has the properties of a rubber ball; distorting or narrowing as gravity pulls it down and squashes as it hits the floor. The second study is a motion tween that is placed on the symbol. It also shares the same properties as the rubber ball but it’s more dramatic. The last study is a drawn ball with the properties of a bowling ball. It doesn’t bounce but to keep it interesting, I make it as if the bowling ball is spinning as it drops.

A experimental animation on how the amount of frames impact the quality and speed of the ball.

Ball Study #1

This is my ball study. I used the frame by frame technique for the first ball, motion tween for the second, and a combination for the third.
