Looping study

Experimenting with gestural motions. Though both are off- one being rigid and the other fluid; I enjoyed this exercise and hope to do more challenging activities in the future.

Ball study #2

ANTICIPATION. By controlling the speed of the movement of the ball and utilizing the most ideal points through the guide layer, we are able to emphasize suspense. All the while, we apply our understanding of the last class by using the squish and stretch technique.

Ball study: Squash and stretch

Ball studies- One which is a drawn ball that has the properties of a rubber ball; distorting or narrowing as gravity pulls it down and squashes as it hits the floor. The second study is a motion tween that is placed on the symbol. It also shares the same properties as the rubber ball but it’s more dramatic. The last study is a drawn ball with the properties of a bowling ball. It doesn’t bounce but to keep it interesting, I make it as if the bowling ball is spinning as it drops.

^^ Portfolio purposes)
A experimental animation on how the amount of frames impact the quality and speed of the ball.

Preparing for battle (Kwamel Robinson)

Portraying a 3-dimension scene from my head about two figures undergoing transformation for war. Both gifs are 30+ frames.

Notes: These two gifs are practices for upcoming future projects. This portrays my skills in the fundamentals however through this, i defined where I stand in this course. There’s much more I need to learn and as a exercise, im pretty satisfied.
