my storyboard for the final. It’s a total of 8 different cuts but I’m not sure if I’ll animate all of them.
this is my walk cycle as close to finished as I could get it this week. I did not do tweening because I ran out of time so each drawing is on 3s to smooth it out.
this is a very rough walk cycle for my character Paul Linzer. I decided to do a 16 frame step cycle and then I shortened the up and down poses to three frames to give him some haste in his walk. Since he is military, I made him walk firmly with an upright pose. I added an overlapping action to the chain, bouncing up and down.
Edit: I made another pass this time paying attention to the alignment of the joints and I drew the in-betweens.
this is my character Cpt. Paul Linzer. He is an Austrian military captain in a fictional 1900’s Europe. I wanted to base a character on Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist but if he had the personality and traits of Aang from Avatar. He might be military but he is more a ‘do my own thing’ kinda guy. After being hurt in a accident he is placed on leave from the military and sent on a secret mission. Because of that I designed him to not wear the upper part of his uniform and instead wear bandages covering the wounds from his accident.
This is the gif I made. It’s a frog that eats a fly and then proceeds to get eaten by a bigger fly.
