Hi Everyone–in week 6, we are exploring the Asian perspectives. There is a longer reading about Chinese parents, and a few YouTube videos which invite us to hear about the challenges of being Asian in America. In Quiz 3, you will have a chance to review and process all of the above materials. It’s a multiple choice quiz, and I’m curious to know if you prefer this format over the previous two (short essay questions).
How is your oral history project going? By now, you should have scheduled your interview and perhaps even conducted it. Remember that what you submit on Blackboard is the interview transcript and a reflection about the project (and the latter can be a paragraph or a podcast). Reminder that the oral history project is due at the end of this week, by Tuesday, October 5th. Good luck!
