I need help with question ideas to ask during my interviews.
Hi Debanie–you could ask them to tell you about their experience of learning how to read, what books they were assigned at school, how reading was taught, when children were expected to know how to read, and also more general questions–did they have an overall positive experience with school, teachers, etc. Look back to your own literacy education–and imagine you are now trying to compare and contrast it to someone else’s education, and that someone attended school 20 years before you or more. I hope this helps.
